Back from the ER

Derek and I had a little scare last night. I was experiencing some of the worst pain that I have ever felt resulting in vommitting every 5-10 minutes for about 3 hours. I woke D up and told him that we needed to go to the ER. Anyways, long story short, I was passing kidney stones. I am just about 21 weeks and the baby was healthy. They did an ultrasound in the ER. Derek asked Dr. Smith if he could tell what the sex of the baby was, but sorry to disappoint, we still don't know! I'm still having some residual pain in my side, but I'm praying that it will go away soon. Anyone else experience this during pregnancy?

A week after Dan & I were engaged, we were hanging out & I started having those terrible crampy pains. I didn't know what it was!! He took me to the ER and they helped me pass the kidney stones. I've always wondered which was worse -- the kidney stones or labor pains.

Hope you're feeling better now!

OMG! Just when you think God doesn't have a sense of humor! :) Glad to hear everything is okay with the baby and that you're on your way to recovery. Keep us posted on the sex (of the baby)!

Oh my, that does not sound fun! Thankfully, I haven't experienced that yet. Glad you and baby are okay.
